The 18th-century residence, surrounded by a 5-hectare park with 750 fruit trees, offered a peaceful retreat. Our spacious room, with views over the rose garden, exuded classic charm and comfort. Exploring the Loire Valley on bicycles provided by the hotel was a delightful way to soak in the beauty of the region. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool and the well-kept grounds for leisurely strolls.The warm hospitality of the staff, including Veronique, made us feel right at home. The complimentary breakfast in the cozy sitting room was a highlight, featuring fresh pastries and homemade jams. They even helped us with a fantastic dinner reservation in Blois.Chateau de la Rue is a gem in the Loire Valley, offering a blend of historic elegance and picturesque surroundings. It's a perfect choice for those seeking a tranquil escape with a touch of sophistication. I highly recommend it for a relaxing and memorable stay.
